If you are an out-of-state couple, NJ Marriage Laws are slightly different for you. Out-of-state couples must be married in the municipality where they applied. So if you applied in Cape May, you must be married here come rain or shine. But why wouldn't you want to anyway? Just request a permit at one of the Cape May beach locations with a gazebo or pavilion and you have one less problem to worry about.
